Dreamly helps you capture ideas and keep your vision in sight — privately. The app stores everything on your device. We run no servers that receive your data, we have no accounts, and we show no ads.
Your visions, quotes, vision-board pictures, ideas, tags, links, screenshots, planning steps and comments live in Dreamly's own storage on your device (and, if you turn it on, in your personal iCloud). That information is yours.
Nothing. Dreamly contains no analytics, no tracking, no advertising SDKs and no third-party data collection. We never see your data and cannot access it.
The microphone is used only while you tap the mic button to dictate. Apple's speech recognition converts your voice to text; Dreamly asks iOS to do this on your device whenever your language supports it, and otherwise Apple may process the audio to transcribe it under Apple's privacy terms. Dreamly never records, stores or sends audio.
The camera is used only when you choose Take a photo. Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode is used only to unlock Dreamly if you turn on the app lock — Dreamly never receives biometric data. Siri and Shortcuts pass Dreamly only the text you dictate.
When you add a link, Dreamly can look up the page's title by loading that page directly from the website you linked (you can turn this off in Settings). If enabled, iPhone Search indexes your ideas and visions on your device only.
When you use Share ▸ Dreamly from another app (for example LinkedIn, X, Reddit, Facebook, Instagram, Safari or Photos), only the link, text or pictures you chose to share are saved — on your device. Dreamly does not sign in to or read anything else from those services.
If you enable iCloud Backup or Full sync, your Dreamly data is stored in your own iCloud account under Apple's privacy terms, so it can appear on your other devices. We have no access to it. You can turn this off at any time in Settings.
When you share an idea, a vision or a vision-board image, Dreamly creates the text or file on your device and hands it to the iOS share sheet — it goes only where you choose to send it, and never through us.
Vision-review, keep-going, step and expiry reminders are scheduled locally on your device. They are not sent through any server.
Dreamly is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect data from anyone. Because we collect no data at all, this applies to users of every age.
The optional one-time unlock is processed by Apple through the App Store. Dreamly only receives confirmation that the purchase succeeded.
