Visions for your life, family, health, career and kids. Vision boards that make them feel real. Regular reviews that keep them alive. And ideas, with the steps to make them happen.
Why I built it
For years, I wanted a tool that helped me dream — and actually come back to those dreams.
Somewhere along the way, I noticed something about myself and the people around me: we were dreaming less than we used to.
Days fill up. Calendars fill up. And the big questions — Where is my family heading? What do I want for my health, my career, my kids? — quietly get pushed to “someday.”
But dreaming isn’t a luxury. It’s critical. A clear vision for your life, your family, your health, your career and your kids is what turns busy days into meaningful ones.
As a family, we would fly to self-leadership conferences just to make space for this — to build vision boards, clarify what we wanted, and meet like-minded people doing the same.
Those few days were powerful. Then we’d fly home, the vision board would go in a drawer, and everyday life took over again.
So I built Dreamly. An iPhone app with one job: help you dream — and keep your dreams in front of you.
How it works
A vision is a picture of the future you’re building, in one area of life: life, family, health, wealth, career, kids, your team or company — or an area of your own. Describe it in your own words, add the quotes that keep you going, and pin pictures to it.
Write a vision for your kids — and give them space to write their own. Your quotes come back to you as the quote of the day on your Today screen.
Every vision has its own vision board — the pictures that make that future feel real. Your dream home. The trip. The finish line.
Make boards of your own too — “Dream home”, “2027 travel” — mixing pictures however you like.
And Dreamly combines all your visions into one board automatically: your whole future, on one screen. Open any board full screen, or share it as an image with your family or team.
A vision you never look at is just a wish. Reviewing your visions regularly is what keeps them alive — daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly or on dates you choose.
Dreamly reminds you when a review is due, and one Review button walks you through each vision, its pictures and quotes, with room to jot down what moved you closer and what’s next.
Ideas arrive anywhere — in the shower, on a walk, scrolling LinkedIn or X. Capture them in seconds by typing, by voice, or by sharing a post straight in from LinkedIn, X, Reddit, Facebook, Instagram or Threads — screenshots and photos too.
Or just say “Capture an idea in Dreamly” to Siri, or put it on the Action button.
An idea can stand on its own, or be tied to the vision it serves.
An idea only matters once you act on it. Break it into steps with target dates and notes, and move it from Spark to Planning, In progress and Done.
Dreamly gives you a gentle nudge to keep going, and reminds you when a step’s target date arrives.
Made for moments like these
Dreaming less was never a lack of ambition.
It was a lack of space — and a place to keep it.
Dreamly keeps your ambitions in front of you — long after the conference ends. My family and I built it because we wanted this tool ourselves. I hope it helps you dream bigger, too.
Dream it. Capture it. Do it.
